Estimates & quantity take-offs
Suitable PDF drawings can support estimated quantities and cost breakdowns. We verify scale against a stated known dimension, check revisions and flag missing dimensions or specifications. Complex full-project take-offs are not automatically included at the starting fee.
Compare the same scope across builders’ quotations. We can identify missing items, exclusions, allowances and questions to resolve, with labour/material breakdowns where the supplied detail supports them.
Compare suitable alternatives and supplier quotes on matching specifications and delivered total cost. Sourcing scope and any fee are quoted separately before work. Supplier purchases and contractor charges are separate.
Our introductory estimating guide starts at £99 + VAT for works up to £25,000. Larger projects follow the bands below. Send your drawings for a free initial scope check and an exact fee before committing.
Introductory guide prices per project. VAT is shown at 20%.
Select the package you think fits, or choose Standard if you are unsure. Your selection is reviewed against the drawings. If the work requires a larger package, we explain the additional scope, revised total and remaining balance before asking you to agree. You can decline and discuss a reduced scope or cancellation before extra work starts.
Any payment already received for the same order is credited against the agreed total. The final report stays locked until the full agreed fee has been verified as paid. Payment requests and automatic report delivery are awaiting activation; no payment is taken on this page.
The band uses the value of the construction works within the scope we are estimating, excluding VAT, rather than the property’s purchase or resale value. Drawing detail, the service requested and complexity are checked before we confirm your fee. Unusually complex work and projects above £500,000 receive a separate quotation.
One agreed scope. One agreed fee.
We confirm the drawing revision, work covered, quantities or cost breakdown required, report format, exclusions and delivery time in your proposal. Quotation reviews and materials sourcing are scoped and quoted separately.
Already paid the £99 starting fee?
Any £99 + VAT already paid for the same order counts towards the total agreed fee. For example, a £399 + VAT package leaves £300 + VAT (£360 including VAT) to pay after a £99 + VAT payment. The total remains £478.80 including VAT.
Your agreed fee stays fixed for the agreed scope. If our estimate later puts the construction cost in a higher band, we do not increase your fee for that reason. Revised drawings, additional work or a changed scope may require a separate fee, which we agree with you before proceeding. No additional amount is charged automatically.
These are introductory guide prices. We confirm the total including VAT before any paid order; payment is due immediately once an agreed order is invoiced.
Estimates depend on supplied drawings/specifications, site conditions and market rates at the stated pricing date. Quantity estimates must be checked before ordering or construction. Savings are not guaranteed. Supplier goods, contractor works, design and statutory fees are separate.
A SMALL FEE. A CLEARER BUDGET.
Potentially significant savings. A better informed start.
Estimate quantities, question omissions and compare like-for-like scope before committing.
From £118.80 including VAT (£99 + VAT at 20%). Introductory estimating bands cover works up to £500,000; larger or unusually complex projects are quoted separately. Drawings, scope and exact fee agreed before paid work. See pricing · Subject to terms and agreed scope.
A 3% reduction in comparable project costs equals £3,000 before our fee. This is a hypothetical calculation, not typical or guaranteed savings.
Supplier price comparisons consider matching specification, VAT, availability, delivery and terms: best value among the quotes checked, without a market-wide cheapest-price promise.
Example arithmetic only, not a design recommendation, verified site measurement, current rate or order quantity. A real report records drawing revisions, verified scale, specification, waste, exclusions, labour/material allowances and next steps. Compaction, ground conditions, delivery units and actual waste require verification.
Current PDF drawings with a known dimension and specification. PDFs may have been resized: a printed scale label alone is insufficient. Missing information will be queried or explicitly recorded as an assumption.
What will I receive?
The report agreed in your scope: relevant quantities or cost breakdowns, quote comparison, assumptions, exclusions, pricing date and practical questions/next steps in plain English. We confirm the format and extent before starting.
What is excluded?
Structural design, condition surveys, statutory approvals and final contractor prices are outside an estimating review. Investigation, specialist advice, site measurement and changes to scope may need separate agreement.
Do I have to sign up or pay now?
A free account is required to submit and track enquiries. No payment is taken when you register. We review your information and provide a scope-and-fee proposal. Paid orders remain disabled while the supplier particulars and full consumer terms are finalised.
